    The Wells Fargo Drive Thru is fenced off. Assuming demo will be coming shortly and then they will build the new Wells Fargo which will open the existing location to be repurposed.

    Esquire magazine has ranked Thompson Houston near Buffalo Bayou Park among this year’s best 41 new hotels in Europe and North America. The 172-room Thompson, owned by Hyatt Hotels Corp., opened in February in the 35-story Allen building along Allen Parkway near Gillette. The hotel, on 12 floors of the tower, includes a spa and more than 17,000 square feet for events and meetings, according to its website and a news release.
