  1. "A developer is planning Friendswood's first hotel to serve as the centerpiece of a mixed-use development in the city's downtown. Construction will begin this year on the 30-room boutique hotel, which will be part of One Sixty One, a planned 180,000-square-foot development that will include retail establishments, restaurants, office space and 36 high-end apartments.   2. Looks like Harry's is letting customers park in a portion of the demolished Late Nite Pie. There was a wooden fence that separated the two.
  3. They have started working on the parking lot on Fairview at Genesee St.
  4. They have done some core drilling here, waste core samples barrels.
  5. I talked with the two guys taking down this light pole. They weren't aware what was going to be built so I showed them. But he told me that the Houston Bark Park Dog Daycare's lease is up at the end of the month and they will be leaving too. He also said the two other lots associated with this have been sold. The one across 26th St. is going to be a CVS. He didn't know what the used car lot across N. Shepherd was going to be but it sold too. CVS.

  7. Fence is down and someone might be working on the inside.
  8. Building demo permits for the 3 buildings. Betting it will be townhomes.
