    Yep. After the MGM/T&J Days, their stuff started to suck. Mass production cartoons at their worst. Oh well, he shall be missed, for some of his better cartoons. RIP.

    Maybe it has something to do with the "Global orgasm day" thread that got posted. Did anyone notice any of these ADs before that topic was started? Perhaps the title/concent is the trigger for the ads.

    I've seen that, too! In Midtown last year, I remember seeing a small tree on top of the new wing of the Houston tech. center.

    If I remember correctly, it is one of Philip Johnson's last projects before he died; a Cross monument addition to the University.

    "The City Assembled" by Spiro Kostof. Good stuff, about urbanism, new urbanism, etc. Houston is mentioned a few times throughout.

    Relax. It isn't the end of the world. The project was only supposed to have about 140 residential units, anyway, as stated on the website: "Condominiums

    They probably had the pit area fenced off, so no imbeciles would kill themselves in it. But, yeah; GREAT news!

    AFAIK, they're going to reopen in the BLVD place project. (from what I heard in the Video on Wulfe's website) "Every attempt is being made to maintain the well known retailers in the center, including Eatzi's"

    Yeah, obviously, but, the whole package should be quite awesome. But, yeah, Victory's pretty cool. HP isn't in too great of a shape at the moment, though.

    No, I meant when they raised it because of "other reason"; not because of the summer travel. Yes, oil prices DO rise during the Summer Months, but, a rise of a dollar in price is ludicrous.

    Just like this summer, and the ultra high oil prices; they will make ANY BS of an excuse to raise prices. Sad, but, true.
