concept, is true to form as per the original renderings. very nice addition for HFC. i cannot wait to reference more about the forthcoming hotel aspect as per this project.
-
ambitious, and yet beautiful illustration. props, for sharing.

this particular concept look's as though it was PLUCKED right out of dubai, uae. it's has clean lines, filled with hyper ambition, and would solidify the houston med center region.. as world class.

please allow for me to clarify. in regards to seeing the green roofing concept being placed upon an escalator overhead, inside an outdoor shopping retail establishment.. is actually what i was thinking of. i am almost certain, that i have never laid eyes upon this clever and yet highly innovative approach, upon an outdoor retail establishment in houston thus far. the particular illustration supplied as per tumbleweed_tx, is indeed lovely / fascinating. -

props, as per the wonderful pic tumbleweed_tx. this live green roofing concept is indeed unique to houston. however, it shall become a very nice compliment to GREEN STREET. it adds color, not to mention a bit of luxury where there was none before. well done! -

well yes guys, i was of course thinking that it has to be the unfortunate angles of the camera. however, i have viewed countless pics of this wonderful addition to our city (now under construction), and so many of pics have the tower itself leaning. i cannot even name the number of pics that i have viewed as per the williams tower, and it is never ever leaning upon such a strange way. oh well... who knows.

WOOOO! yes you did cloud713. and i am so very ecstatic to see that your faithful revelation is now coming into fruition. however, NO PUTT PUTT! additionally, i am extremely beyond curious, as to just what form of retail establishments that mr. brinsden and co, shall have slated as per GREEN STREET itself? we are all keenly aware, that this new and innovative retail establishment, shall not survive upon just great restaurants alone. this shall be especially in lieu of the forthcoming HOTEL ALESSANDRA. to some degree, there shall be a need for at least a small bit of luxury retail, to satisfy the patrons as per a five star lodging establishment. i for one, would just love for a DILLIARDS to be placed inside the old SAKOWITZ establishment directly across the street. something as per this nature, shall go along way in satisfying the most immediate needs of bridge vs luxury brands upon the downtown region. it would be even greater should we somehow lure a NORDSTROM to downtown as well. congratulations again my pal! -
Post Oak Shopping Center At 1703-1751 Post Oak Blvd.
monarch replied to suzerain's topic in Uptown and Galleria Area
for anyone that truly loves the GALLERIA, we could only hope and pray for just a small ounce of truth, as per these most intriguing of revelations. for many many years now, i have very often thought that the old DILLIARDS was decrepit, outdated, and in some areas.. seemingly falling apart. i have also felt that, if they would just close this establishment and rebuild, that maybe more patrons would enter their edifice, and their sales margin would rapidly increase. i once knew some pals that had worked there, and they were always complaining about this very antiquated establishment. they kept mentioning about how "dark and dank, old and overcrowded, the areas of retail inside the store itself. the very thought of this old and very antiquated DILLIARDS coming down, and a new redevelopment taking place as per this huge and yet most desired property.. is simply awe inspiring to say the least. but the real multi million dollar question is.. WHAT ABOUT NEIMAN MARCUS? just how long is this very popular super luxurious department store, going to just stand by and allow for SAKS FIFTH AVENUE to reign supreme upon the design and scale of the most profitable and yet magnificent luxury retail establishments in houston? dallas of course, is the foremost home of NEIMAN MARCUS. however, houston is very often mentioned as their most profitable store within the company's chain. throughout the years, they have tried in earnest to remain new and fresh upon their scope and design within their building. they have placed most of their administrative offices over in the WILLIAMS TOWER upon their never ending quest, to add more space within their very crowded store. and yet, to date, they still have not announced that they are contemplating upon building a new, larger, and state of the art retail establishment heading into the future such as the likes of SAKS FIFTH AVENUE. i am very often just stumped by this! anyone and everyone can only guess that, once SAKS FIFTH AVENUE opens their new and optimally modern forthcoming store.. that they shall reign supreme upon the most sought after retail sales and momentum. let us face it mates, for when it comes to retail.. patrons JUST ADORE THE NEW! especially, the international patrons. don't believe me, just venture over to dubai, uae.. and see for yourself. everyone knows, that the RITZ CARLTON vs W HOTEL brands have been scouting around houston for quite some time now. maybe this is the real reason that they have been taking so very long as to announce just where they would like to construct their long awaited establishments. they want the most optimum locales, and of course no one could blame them. but time is certainly of the essence, especially in lieu of the forthcoming SUPER BOWL 17. and as for TRUMP, i would love for him to place one of his flags upon the houston horizon. can anyone just imagine what would happen, should all three brands should suddenly converge upon the GALLERIA area.. directly positioned around the mall itself.. one can only dream... -
