  1. star wars comes to downtown houston. simply beautiful, modern, futuristic, concepts. may the force...
  2. due to my employment, as per the fluor daniels corporation... dubai, uae, just so happens to be the "port of entry" inward vs outward, as per our personnel working abroad, throughout the "theater of afghanistan". therefore, i always have privilege vs honor, of being in dubai during their continuous vs stupendous growth upsurge. deyaar, emaar, damac, just to name a few of their respective luxury property developers, are very obviously spending untold sums as per their marketing programs alone. i'm always having the opportunity to focus upon many of their marketing advertisements basically all over dubai vs the middle east. (and i do mean everywhere). many times, one just cannot tell for whom is leading at the moment. they are always preparing to construct something or another, as well as alway's marketing their respective vs prospective venues. many times, as i have traveled upon "sheik zayed rd" upon my quest to reach jumeirah beach, mall of the emirates, as well as the dubai mall, i cannot help but feel as though i am in some modern day middle eastern fantasy... for this experience alone, tends to take one's breath away. the entire panorama as per this part of this futuristic city, is simply amazing. for those "haif" members that have longed to travel to dubai, uae,.. i for one, may only suggest that you please try to get there, for you would love it. there is so very much to do. all one has to bare in mind, is that, dubai is a modern day muslim country. all they shall ask, as per any prospective tourist, is that they respect the religious aspects as per their country, vs their laws and customs. i simply love dubai!
  3. How do you decide what words to put in quotation marks? Is it completely random? """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""now you decide.
  4. a little design diversity, certainly wouldn't upset the neighborhood. let us hope that they stay true, as per the rendering.
  5. actually, imo, i don't view it as "bland"... but quiet, clean, as well as ultra modern. this is a concept illustration of the "luxury walk". as per neiman marcus, all the way through to saks fifth avenue. this particular luxury concept, reminds me a bit of the "dubai mall's" luxury wing. extremely quiet, albeit, an understated elegance throughout it's area. not to mention, the "mall of the emirates" also in dubai, which has a really cool luxury concept. this concept, makes you feel as though you are partaking an indoor "rodeo drive" shopping experience. i would give almost anything, if the "houston galleria" could ever accomplish the sheer and utter magnificence, as per the mall's in dubai, uae. once you've experience either of these two of the "world's largest shopping mall's"... you shall never feel the same way about shopping... ever again.
  6. i for one, simply do not appreciate the "exposed" cement design as per this edifice. it just appears incomplete vs cheap.
  7. this particular lovely, has indeed prospered upon it's height factor. she actually look's a bit more glamorous.
  8. geez, they've actually started? oh well, i guess they were somewhat frightened by the "ashby" high-rise curse. go get 'em hines!
  9. is that skinny building actually part of the hotel? upon what capacity? if it is actually part of the hotel, then what is it's history vs function? was it annexed?
  10. by all accounts, this is an essential, and yet very glamorous component, as per this particular area of downtown. "minute maid park" vs "marquette place" a home run indeed...
  11. this particular development, shall become an essential, and yet fabulous addition, as per the midtown region. cudos, to all involved, as per the often tenuous fundraising.
  12. $650.000.000.00, is quite the huge sum, as per a project that is so very uninspiring. are they sure?
  13. "greenstreet" now with it's proposition as per "hotel alessandra" just cannot leave my mindset. i simply feel that, if "midway cos" proceeds upon the same first class fashion, that they have openly demonstrated as per their highly successful "city centre" development... this much anticipated "greenstreet" concept, shall conform into a gold mine. "greenstreet" if infused with the appropriate form of retail vs restaurants, etc.. could very well kick start the new wave of retail activity, that has been long awaited as per the entire downtown region. the concept, "hotel alessandra" shall indeed become the leading catalyst as per this growth prospect. simple words alone, shall not describe the open potential that this particular project shall offer downtown houston. "greenstreet" once it's completed, shall become the new essential.
  14. hey urbannizer, may you tell us upon whether or not if the "hyatt" has updated their hotel renderings? as i recall, the previous and only renderings as per their galleria site, were pretty bland indeed.
