Alec
I can see a new crane just southwest of the first one. Is that a second one for this project or something else entirely? It seems too close to be one of the Pearls.

largeTEXAS
As great the added density is, and as crappy the current retail is that's currently at the site, this is yet another nauseating example of a cookie cutter apt building resulting in net loss of retail in an urban neighborhood. This one being on Main St stings a little more too (along with its twin next door).

This one being on Main St stings a little more too (along with its twin next door).I agree with you but GFR was very unlikely right next to the bus station. And every dense apartment project without GFR makes it more likely that future ones will have GFR. But yeah, the first floor elevation along Main Street is sickening. Chi-Char-Hou-Dal
Plenty of empty storefronts on main and down grey - I don't get the GFR argumentMerry Christmas you filthy animals!

H-Town Man
Can't compare an empty fifty year old storefront with new construction. But again, GFR wasn't likely here due to the bus station.

Urbannizer
I was talking to a couple of employees at that station and it seems like the owner purchased the entire plot the station was on and they are due to shut down in December. Is the gas station closed now?
