the "west loop/galleria/memorial" seems like quite a consolidation.

when the concept of "uptown" was first introduced to describe my neighborhood i was worried that it sounded a bit stuck-up - but then downtown caught back on and mid town was firmly established and it seemed to fit in. no matter what area i find myself traveling each day i always know i'm close to home when i see the tower and it's a great feeling. it may sound corny but it somehow keeps me feeling grounded. btw, i will probably forever call it "transco" tower" since that's how i grew up knowing it.

Its the area (West) of the Hieghts on Heighs Blvd. Right after Memorial, it turns into somthing else. Spot Park is the center of it, I belive. If you remember the old German resteraunt/rent out party place, (so abruntly torn down). its right around there. There just tearing down old homes built in the 60s, and putting up new Town homes.

No, its the West End, theres a sign, right before you enter it, Take I-10 E (W.B.) and exit heights Blvd., take a left, and you will see the sign.

Spring is an awesome town, I got a couple of friends up there.

I live about 10-12 miles west of the Galleria, although I can also see the Williams Tower from my home.

I live in Mo City, but I can still see the Williams from HW 6. MAN, Hines really did accomplish what he set out to do ( make the Transco a beacon that is visible for maaany miles around) In fact, I was in Katy sometime back, and saw the beacon sweeping the sky!

I picked "Museum District" because it's the closest to where I live, but I'm not actually there. I'm kind of at the junction of the Braeswood/West U/Med Center/Rice Village area.

grogan's mill in the woodlands, we are a fifteen minute walk from town center and the woodlands waterway.

this large sculpture called "dreamer" is located at the intersection of w. panther creek and woodlands parkway.

How big is that statue? You can't tell the scale from the photo. It looks like he could be a giant!

That does look like a huge statue. The Woodlands is such a nice area. I wish Katy can put up different structures like that.
