Subdude
What gets really pathetic is when they start throwing in tidbits about the history of the countries.
skwatra
and also, what's the deal with showing the visiting city, or even random cities? i've noticed this a lot over the past year over all sports. showing Edmonton during game 7 in Carolina, showing Boston (do they have a big IT pop?) during Italy-France, showing Mexico City during their match against Argentina. I could name 10 more in all sports if I thought about it. I guess its kinda cool, but i'm wondering why they suddenly started doing it so much. Do i just not remember it from years ago?and did you guys hear the IT and FR Consulates here sponsored a showing of the game at some theatre near the galleria? http://chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/4035596.html
KinkaidAlum
Trophy-You WERE right about Stanford. However, as of this year, the stadium will seat just 50,000 but will be MUCH nicer. Check out stanford.edu to see the renderings.
