EastwoodEnvoy
True Anomaly finally announced this project. Sounds like they plan to stay on St. Emanuel until the I-45 project forces them out. The announcement was shared yesterday on Facebook and Instagram. From Facebook: We have kept this project to ourselves long enough and want to let you all in on the exciting news 😉 We purchased a property a little bit ago and recently began phase 1 of construction. We couldn’t imagine laying roots anywhere other than our beloved East End, so you won’t have to journey far when the time comes to invite you all in. In the meantime, we want to share progress photos with you all - the community that built us. We will also keep you updated on opening dates as we move further along through construction. One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is…what about the current location? Rest assured we will be in this space for as long as possible…until the Houston infrastructure gods push us out, whenever that may be. We look forward to bringing you all along for this exciting journey! https://www.facebook.com/trueanomalybrewing/posts/pfbid02R6wdPAPv4Hdk8jgvRiX4a4frYQBCXTQfgnktoUYESKEHfirddbjoof51RwCgfgril

jhjones74
This was several months ago, but one of the bartenders at the current True Anomaly had mentioned that they were hoping to move into this new space on Navigation sometime around June or July 2024. I had actually heard earlier this year from the same bartender that they planned to move into this space at the beginning of 2024, but with delays on NHHIP they were no longer in a rush to leave. The drainage work that will tear up Saint Emanuel will then start right around the time they'll be moving out
hindesky
I could hear the man lifts beeping inside the big building, I usually see 2-4 vehicles outside.

EastwoodEnvoy
Quote The new brewery will include a full-service kitchen that will serve pizza and other dishes, a larger taproom for hosting events, and most importantly, room for expanded brewing capacity and production. https://houston.culturemap.com/news/restaurants-bars/true-anomaly-brewing-new-location/

Though that was 1994 and built up a following over a decade when there was no other microbrewery in town. These guys are pretty smart, i assume they have a plan to build out and be competitive. I'm going to miss the current spot and coming over with Rodeo Goat or Vinny's... but a larger space and more brewing capacity is welcome!
