mollusk
Don't forget about Mike "The Hypocrite" Bloomberg [R/Ind], who served 12 consecutive years as NYC Mayor from 2002-2014 or the late Maynard Jackson (D), who served as Atlanta, GA Mayor from 1974-1982; 1990-1994. In a way, this demonstrates one of the downsides of term limits. Maynard Jackson was barred by term limits from serving three consecutive terms; when he ran again after sitting out one term he pulled in 80% of the vote. He chose not to run for a fourth for health reasons. Likewise, Bloomberg's popularity was a factor in revising New York's term limit scheme.

kylejack
I'm concerned with the Terry Goodwin case. Outrageous incident, and one wonders how the sheriff doesn't know what's going on for weeks in his own jail.
