OutfieldDan
I think this sign is much too large and completely obnoxious. Is it legal?
Ross
Where is it? If it's in the City of Houston, there ought to be a sign permit for it.
gmac
It's at 2401 Yale. Sure fixed up that building in the past two years.
Ross
According to the City permit search, that's a legal sign.

Ross
Aren't the inflatables illegal in the City these days?
august948
They were, but a federal court overturned the ban.

Specwriter
The new LED signs are great in that they are easy to read and can be changed practically at will. My complaint about some is they can be way too bright, especially at night, and cause a considerable distraction. Depending on what is being displayed at the time the sign in front of the Kemah city hall at the intersection of State Highway 146 and FM 2094 can be particularly offensive. bedmondson
I have always wanted to take a bucket of paint to that sign. The building is for sale at $725,000 so hopefully they are about to go bankrupt and leave. Does anyone have a link to the rules regarding signs? andre154
Here is a link to Sign Administration's webpage from the City of Houston. http://www.houstonpermittingcenter.org/code-enforcement/sign-administration-and-permits.html
SilverJK
Is the sign infront of that house/business on Pecore across the street from the church legal? They also frequently have a moving truck parked across the street from them that often blocks a good bit of the lane.
Purpledevil
That sign does suck. Have you seen the "Clear" LED sign at the corner of W. 38th and N. Shepherd? That one is of equal suckage.
