Planning Commission deferred this once again despite the fact that their staff recommended approval. Biggest thing being questioned is the large reduction of parking. Staff wanted it approved after they did a site visit and walked the area and to the two light rail stations. They also visited other similar sites in the area. It's just outside the reduced parking reduction area that passed for parts of Eado and Midtown. The developer spoke and said he could reduce the amount of green space to create more parking and has connections to use off site valet parking. Neighbors are worried about parking in the neighborhood even though they like the overall concept. Other concerns are the lack of adequate sidewalks although the developer plans to add some along Nagle which doesn't currently have any. Nagle St. is a dead end and can be used for street parking since there is a warehouse along the west side of the street. Developer is going to try to secure more parking and a couple more ADA parking spots. He already has several spots for bicycle parking. 6

hindesky
Approved by the Planning commission. The developer added more parking spaces but to do so he had to remove green space. He also added 15 parking spots along Nagle St. The Planning Commission decided to go with the previous plat with 14 parking spots and leave the green space since he added parking on Nagle.
