    The Skyhouse will be a good addition to the area.

    It can go either way, like for instance the new JW Marriott convention center hotel in Austin says coming early 2015. Right now they already dug a gaint hole in the ground with construction workers and equipment on site.

    Same could be said about Florida why does Orlando have Sea World and Miami doesn't, or why is Sea World in San Diego and not in LA. To me I think it's great that we have attractions in different cities across Texas. I could drive down to San Antonio and visit Six Flags or the riverwak and be back here in Austin the same day doing something else.

    They tore the old water treatment plant back in 2009, right now it's a grass lawn.

    I can imagine what the inside of the building looked like when it was boarded up all that stale air inside, but I am glad to see it being use.
