  1. MD Anderson South Campus Research Building 5. UTHealth School of Public Health. MD Anderson South Campus Garage 2. [New] MD Anderson South Campus Hazardout Materials Storage Building located at 7777 Knight Road. The building is being built by J.T. Vaughn Construction.
  2. Concrete pour today. This one is moving fast! The curved walkway path has been demolished.
  3. I see these two companies all of over the Texas Medical Center. Airgas and Praxair are industrial gas companies. https://www.airgas.com/ https://www.lindeus.com/ Praxair outside of MD Anderson north campus.
  4. Drove past a very unique, small, town home complex located at 7909 Knight Road in the Texas Medical Center. Photos I took today.
  5. This residential house is pretty interesting. It's in the middle of a large 100-acre (ish) MD Anderson campus called MD Anderson East Campus. This is one instance where the home owners refuse to sell to the company. There's a thread on HAIF somewhere dedicated the "hold outs." Pictures I took today. All of MD Anderson's vacant land a long Almeda Road.
  6. Welp. They are doing a facade remodel here? I wonder why they just don't demolish the 1950s building? A nurse at St. Luke's told me the original hospital is prone to flooding. Pictures from today. Facade remodel. Front entrance. The original brick is falling off. Old school windows that need a power washing.
  7. I've been thinking HAIF can play a game. Really dorky and nerdy but I had the idea. Since the TMC is recognized globally, I wonder if HAIF can spot all 50-state license plates around the Texas Medical Center. In one parking garage today I saw 3 states! It really is amazing how people from all over come here for treatment. Indiana. Georgia. New Jersey.
  8. Today I stopped by the UTHealth University Housing located at 1885 El Paseo Street. A little background: https://www.uth.edu/housing/future-residents/ The Phase I property (7900 Cambridge) was built in 1982 and offers first and second floor units in one, two and three bedroom floor plans. The Phase II property (1885 El Paseo built in 2005) and Phase III property (1885 El Paseo built in 2014) All students, staff and faculty of UTHealth, Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) and MD Anderson Cancer Center are encouraged to apply for Phase I and II. Phase III is available only to full-time UTHealth students. A boom and a portable toilet on site. Some remodeling going on here.
  9. My buddies are located here. McGovern Historical Center and Archive located at 8272 El Rio Street, Suite 190. Texas Children's Hospital also leases space here for their Supply Chain Warehouse. https://archives.library.tmc.edu/ Pictures I took today: McGovern Historical Center of the TMC Library shipping/receiving. Texas Children's shipping and receiving area. BioReference Laboratories.
  10. This multifamily complex has traded hands and has been rebranded. Post at Afton Oaks now oddly named MAA Afton Oaks. Photo I took today:
  11. The small office building in Bellaire is home to the decades-old McGovern Allergy & Asthma Clinic. https://mcgovernallergy.com/ Here are some photos that I took today. Street signage says: 4710 Bellaire Blvd McGovern Allergy & Asthma Clinic, P.A. Texas Children's Pediatric Cohan & Masharani Methodist Primary Care Group
  12. Anyone have experience with the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic hospital system? I've read a lot of negative feedback lately, but my dermatologist works out of the Memorial clinic. Great doctor, great in-person service, and free parking. The co-pay/billing isn't complicated and the online platform is easy to work with. I used to visit the Tanglewood clinic a lot. Again, free parking and great experience. One advantage of the Tanglewood clinic is you had the ability to do blood and lab work on-site. I thought I remember Baylor College of Medicine requiring me to go get my own lab work done? It was an inconvenience compared to Kelsey-Seybold. https://www.kelsey-seybold.com/
  13. Noticed these new orange & white flag ground stakes this week. The University of Texas System is wanting to co-develop the 80-acres here. Wishful thinking! Pro_Pole #10
  14. The side of the building features a woman in a face covering. Love it!
  15. Nice! Years ago, Urby posted these but ZC immediately removed them. Nice to see this proposal again. One of my dream developments. Something exciting should be built in the heart of GWP. Renderings for the new page. Could actually be separated into a new topic as a proposal only.
  16. In this historic photograph you can see the South Main Drive-In Theater on the left side and Brochsteins on the right. Amazing view. If only the Domain Privee Casino was captured as well. It's just a tad bit on the right!
  17. Has this been mentioned? The surface lot directly across the street is now For Sale! 24,603 square feet. I think the address is either 2415 Main or 2519 Main. For Sale sign:
