I saw this video a while back at Microcinema event. I had no idea it had narration. I am a bit perturbed that whoever used that video, put it to music and altered it supposedly in an "artistic way" - I liked it when I first saw it and I like it even more now.

The HAIF favicon (icon in the address bar, bookmark icon) used to be a little square image of downtown, now it's an envelope(?) or something... can it be changed back to an image of downtown? Anyone else notice this?

Post Oak Shopping Center At 2019-2521 Post Oak Blvd.

Field of Greens has an awesome fakin bacon BLT! As a matter of fact, Field of Greens has A LOT of vegetarian sandwiches, burgers and entrees and they are good! I highly recommend the fettucine with soy alfredo. If you didn't know, you'd think it was cream! oh, and that BLT... it's real good! I too recommend the VD2 from Hunan Village, although if you don't ask for light sauce, it could be too sweet. -

I'm pretty sure this development will envelope the entire space. I'm also pretty sure that little street will be paved over and all those power lines will be removed as they are old and used to belong to the buildings that used to occupy that space. As far as the ones that line Kirby, well, they run all the way down the street. I doubt they will take them underground or be rerouted.

w00t!! Cool! Thanks! I also have some photos I'll be posting later!

Well, I had nothing to do with it, I just drive it during the parade. My office-mate at work is the art car artist and owner. He has some sort of fixation with Jesus' and Monkeys, so he combined them into an art car, it's a sight to see. I get the honor of driving the car while he parades around in costume on his banana scooter. Last year he was The Jesus Monkey, dressed as Jesus with a monkey face. This year he will be Super Jesus Monkey, dressed as a superhero with, of course, a monkey face, cape and costume. I will just be wearing a hat and banana nose glasses, driving. So if you see us, holler out "GROOVEHOUSE!" and if I can find ya, I'll honk or wave or something... See ya there!

Whole Foods Market At 15900 Southwest Fwy.
groovehouse replied to ProHouston's topic in Points Southwest
I stand corrected. Look for a Sugarland Whole Foods some time in 2007. It'll be about 55,000 square feet! And look for an 80,000 sq foot Galleria area Whole Foods on San Felipe and Post Oak in late 2008, early 2009 -
I'm gonna have to second on Fox Inspections. This guy (if it's the same guy) was extremely thorough and had no problem getting dirty. He crawled all the way under our old house in The Heights and inspected everything under there! He was thorough, professional and amazing. Back then he would print up your inspection in a Word document complete with digital photos. He is very well trained and versed in foundation and pier & beam homes in the Houston area. I can't recommend this guy enough. He does what he does (inspect homes) because of a genuine care and concern for those who are purchasing a home. A home is a huge investment and he feels that the prospective buyer should know everything about that home before undertaking the huge task that is home ownership. Fox Inpspections was way more thorough than the first inspectors I used on my first home.
