I would. He landed on his back and rolled over into a surrender pose, first with his hands spread-eagle, and second with his hands behind his head. Are you familiar with a Use Of Force Continuum? Besides, you weren't just letting off Blomberg. You said a thug got what he deserved and nothing more. There's plenty more, because a crime was committed by those other officers, one they're going to have to answer for.

Kicking and punching a compliant suspect is a crime, regardless of your own personal opinions of what thugs deserve.

GreenStreet: Mixed-Use Development At 1201 Fannin St.

daniepwills and anyone else in Humble Tower already do. I live on top of a bar and on the same block as two clubs. It works out okay. -

But there's garages right across the street? -
I'm paying $950 for 850 square feet one block away at St. Germain. $2200 is actually quite high compared to: St. Germain, Hogg Palace, Post Rice, Bayou Lofts, Franklin Lofts, or even Commerce Tower. So no, $2200 is not "too poor" for 1000 sq ft downtown.

Seems to me that they're saying that wind farms create more heat than nothing. But do they create more heat than the various kinds of powerplants, per kwh? That's the more interesting question.

There's a lot of doctors that take buses to the Med Center. Aside from residents, there's also the people watching their kids and cleaning their houses.

The End Of Tax-Free Shopping On Amazon
kylejack replied to Pumapayam's topic in Computers, Technology and the Internet
Amazon Prime is excellent. Two day shipping is free, and you can upgrade to 1 day for $4 per order. Two weeks to ship? Never heard of that, even without Prime. -

Yes, we need to pay more taxes so we can fund a security detail for another Presidential campaign. -
I'd say it's more of a bar than a coffeeshop these days. Fun place to hang out. I took my Mom in there once and there was a stark naked guy playing guitar. Oops!

What's that cost per hour?

My understanding is that permits are only issued on a per-day basis for special events or festivals. I've never seen a propane truck operating outside an event in downtown. The cupcake truck comes downtown sometimes, but that's it.

City of Houston Bike Share Pilot Program
kylejack replied to trymahjong's topic in Community Announcements
I'm really excited about this. Also, the pricing has gotten friendlier through the process. It used to be absurdly prohibitively high. People are going to have to be very cautious about losing the bike, though, as it is $1200 to replace. http://houston.bcycle.com/pricing.aspx -
http://blogs.houston...dor_blues_1.php http://www.chron.com...oad-1682709.php Additionally, city regulations prohibit trucks from parking too close to a seating area. They overlook it sometimes (such as at Liberty Station) but I don't know if they'd overlook a whole food court.
-
This idea has got some problems. First and foremost, trucks cooking with propane are not permitted in Downtown or the Med Center, except for festivals and special events (such as the farmer's market). Hm.

Eh, hard to go much lower. Tickets could be had for as cheap as $5 last year. I like this better, keeping the ticket prices where they are (cheap) and letting people bring in their own food.
