    There are still a few blocks of "sketchy" homes left in the area, but it is changing fast - lots of new town homes going up all around it....I would buy a condo there if the price was right

    Explain to me what the HAR listing is -- it appears it's the land for sale with the plans for the condos thrown in if the buyer wants them ?

    Thanks for the info DNA....according to SW's website, you only need to present your passport at check-in before proceeding through security for international flights -- since I didn't enter my passport information when I bought my tickets, I want to make sure I am prepared before I get there...you weren't able to show them your passport at a kiosk and then go through security ?

    Im flying to Puerto Vallarta in December from Hobby - will be interesting to see how much faster the whole process (customs) is compared to IAH - plus it's a lot shorter of a drive for me...hopefully it will be a better all around experience

    I used to live in the Alexan (not sure if that is the name now) apartments on I-10 -- you can definitely hear the road noise, but after a few days, you become accustomed to it and don't notice it at all...there was no difference in pricing of apartments facing the I-10 compared to the same plan on the same floor not facing the highway - the higher up you went, the more expensive they got though..

    Looks like the infrastructure work is done or close to it -- the construction trailers are all gone except one....still working on landscaping
