    I was wondering if something was happening to that Days Inn building because they have boarded up alot of the windows. I guess that is a product of compliance with the building code.

    I like Hardy between I-45 and Beltway 8 & Grand Parkway between Westhimer and Kingsland.

    I went to Cy Springs and it was a nice school back then, but my stepmom recentley moved her kids from Friendswood and they said that school was run down, and eventually transfered to Cinco Ranch. I went to Summer School @ Cy Ridge and I remember hearing the same thang about the less desireable areas being zoned to Cy-Ridge. I also remember alot of students being aressted for popping and selling xanax(BARZ).

    I think Scott St right next to UH. I wonder what out of state students think when they arrive at campus.

    I also like the GRB, I remember when ESPN was set up @ Discovery Green during the Super Bowl. I also remeber volunteering after Katrina and hearing many evacuees talking about how nice Downtown was and the GRB.

    I agree with astrodome, but when I picture Houston the first building that comes to mind is Heritage Plaza and Bank of America Center. I remeber on Sim City 3000 700 Louisana(Bank of America Center ) was one of the landmark buildings.

    I like this building because of the fountain on the Bayou. Everytime I go to the Buffalo Bayou walk I always see alot of people around the fountain taking pictures.

    That guy in Dubai, (I think he is the prince/leader) has some money. It is amazing all the stuff being built in Dubai. This building if built would definetly stand out in Houstons Skyline.

    Looks like Stern suspended Joey Crawford, I wonder if this will send a message to all Refs that they are not bigger than the game as well as the players? Crawford suspended indefinitely

    I am glad we clinched Home court, but like JVG said home court is not really an advantage unless there is a game 7. Wich I hope in our case is not the deal. Go Rockets lets beat Utah!!!

    Also this intersection I10 610 will work much better once the 290 rebuild is complete. No more all that lane switching to stay to exit to I10 or 610 or 290.

    Ok, that is my opinion and you are entitled to yours as well, and when dose someones OPINION need be researched. If it is an isolated event then why dose history repeat its self. What is to stop this from happening again, have you ever heard of copycats. Bottom line I still think security could be greatly improved. School security is a joke that is the most important fact!

    I think the school dropped the ball from the start. I think that they should have shut the school down after the first shooting and send the swat in every room in that school and search and ask questions. School security is a joke, when I went to high school anyone could walk in the school and do what ever they wanted. These Colleges are constantly raising their tutions for pay raise, building improvements and what not? I think since they raise tutions anyways they could pay for security, not RENT A COPS, im talking about armed trained officers who can act on a situation like that fast, and other trained officers trained to escort students safely away from the inicident. I know its easy to say, it that would be expensive, but how can you put a price on safety. My thoughts and prayes goes out to everyone from VT that have to live with this, and especially Family and friends of the lost ones?

    Yea this section has been over capacity for a while during rush hour. It takes like 30 min just to get to S Main from the Southwest Fwy

    I disagree these ramps are horrible for the "labeld" busiest intersection in Texas. I think they should have constructed it like the recontructed 610 & I10 intersection. They should have rebuilt 610 mainlanes with the newer style peirs to allow for more room for the ramps. Also they should have two continous lanes on the busier ramps, and start the ramp atleast a mile before the intersection and extend in a mile after the intersection likie the 75(N Central Exp) & 635(LBJ Fwy) intersection in Dallas.

    Why Wierd? I would rather an underpass than an over pass for asethetic reasons. I used to live off FM 529 and HWY 6 and they are planning an overpass for that intersection, and I think Clay Rd and/or W Little York. I was mad when I found out because that genral Copperfield area is a nice drive I believe. I have always liked the under passes on the old roads like OST and Griggs, but the bad thing is flooding issues which happen once in a while.

    Thanks I took her down there last Sat and it is really a nice walk, and good for photos. Although there was a crowd I did notice quite a few people walking dogs, jogging, ETC. I would not think the Bayou Walk would be so nice from the outside, which is why I hope the city adapts the part of the BBMP where they replace and reroute the bridges over Buffalo Bayou so that the bayou will be more visible.

    The thing I dis like about the TTC is the stipulation that roads around the Toll Road can not be improved throughout the 50 yr contract. Thats BS if they are going to be making profit off the tolls they are collecting. Its not like traffic will get any better whithin 50 yrs even with expansions and what not. I do like that they get the roads built faster, and I like the idea of having seperate lanes for trucks, cars,etc.

    Its funny because at some intersections in older parts of Houston, they have the metal pole signals that where crushed replaced with the wood powerline poles, crushed again and barely standing up just by a lil brace. Intersection that comes to mind is Mangum @ 34th. Also I believe they replaced the lights along the South and North Loop W when the resurfaced the feeders.

    I think it would be great for DT and the East side of 59. When they say North of MMP they mean East right, on the other side 59. If they do build it on those lots about how big of a stadium would it be? I think this would be for the best seeing how it is a centralized location. I wonder if they would put a GRT stop seeing how it would run by the propossed stadium

    Agree'd he was a waste of a roster spot and space. I wonder what if any teams would even pick him up next year. GO ROCKETS. I think we are a better team than Utah seeing how we missed more games from our stars then they have, and even after a 12-1 start we are still there for homecourt in the playoffs. We need to finally beat NO/OK! and i wonder how many if any starters Dallas and Pheonix plan on playing? I think Utah faces Dallas, Pheonix then US, and we play NO/OK, Pheonix and then Utah. So this last game could be interesting EH!

    I think the fans and media do agree on one decision the Texans made and thats giving Carr a change of secenery. I doubt Carr even starting one game as long as Jake stays healthy. Any ideas as to who we will take with the 10th pick. All the major mock drafts are very diffrent.

    True but they do check them periodically for false info and are corrected as needed. Im not saying ther are entirely correct but there have been some cases where they locked the edit feature for what they call Vandilism "False Info". Back on topic thats a good number jobs ro be added. Any info on any new stores going in HP.
