I think a proper jerk meter would be to say "you're being a jerk." the - and + buttons are all fine and good way to see if people agree with what you're saying or if they're calling BS on it. I am very for the death penalty where it is applicable, but when it comes to crimes like this, I think a slow form of dismemberment is quite appropriate. Looks like this thing will be coming down soon. While I won't exactly miss it, its truly a shame they couldn't find an alternative use.
