    11th Annual Heights Scavenger Hunt and Rally course took us right by the project, of course I stopped to take some pics.

    I believe it was the tie-in spot for the tower crane.

    I ride by here on many of my bicycle trips, the lot was fenced off very recently. Many, many years ago there used to be a McDonalds on this lot.

    They must be doing interior demo only right now, not much has changed on the outside but the mounds of trash seem bigger.

    I just noticed the fence around the eastern side of the building, how long has it been there?

    Spotted the rare rainbow Unicorn floatie, the thing is massive.

    Rooftop pool glass wall looks massive from the ground. Lower level pool is still under construction. Sidewalk pavers.

    They've actually started on it, I should have taken a pic yesterday when the southern gate was open. See the rendering above, the cement wall which will have "Midtown" on it is up on the southeastern corner.

    Talked to one of the riggers helping to dismantle the west tower crane. They can only remove it on the weekends because Harvey needs the other crane during the week to finish the building. I counted about 28+ more vert sections to go.

    Luckily I got my tickets during the early bird sale, prices have risen since then.
