    Now Leasing signs all around but the chain link fence still has the entrance blocked off and a security guard watching the property. They added another sign.

    They closed off two eastbound lanes of John Freeman Blvd but are splitting the westbound lanes for traffic.

    The people that run the Tacos Laguna trucks are from Torreon, Mx. They are the small double tortillas that they slightly grill which makes them so much better. Grilled onions, cilantro and a little baggie of hot green sauce. Delicious. The guy that opened La Calle Tacos is from Mexico City. They both also sell what I call gringo tacos too.

    I have a bunch of them from back in the day when I was a smoker. Gave some away to a distant relative who collected them. Used to collect them cause just about every restaurant or bar gave them away back then. They are from Junction, San Antonio, Houston, Pasadena, Mexico City, Acapulco, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Taos, Steamboat Springs and several other places I've traveled to or lived in. These are some of the interesting ones.

    If this get built these two giant oak trees on Montrose Blvd will have to come down or severely trimmed. There are currently 4 buildings left on the proposed property. Bacco's, London Underground Salon, a tiny house next to it and one next to the alley. The bus got tagged by several taggers shortly after Hop Heads closed. Every building except Bacco's is empty.
