    Hey- I am glad to have the in-fill. I also agree that it beats any and every Randall Davis. I would just like to see some cool top on a few more of these buildings. Hines has proved that the tenants are willing to pay for it. I just want a new 90 story trophy tower and I don't feel like that's too much to ask! (Kidding, kind of)

    I can't imagine how tall that will look! Also - I agree that it looks like the Southmore 2.0. Can't we please please get a tower with more pizzaz? Austin gets them. Dallas gets them. We are the step-children of cool high-rises. Look at what is going in on Bammel - it already looks like a 1990's dated design and he hasn't even started. None-the-less, I am glad for the vertical construction over the 8 story wraps.

    I wish the sun had been shining - but that was too much to ask this weekend. None the less, this area is full of life, and the hotel isn't even open yet. Plus the GRB looks fantastic.

    Oh no! What if the owners of one of the Cosmopolitan can't see the Walmart on 59?!! I smell a lawsuit! Seriosly though, they do need to upgrade those Westin Hotels' exteriors.

    That's because it was a government contract as opposed to being for the private sector. They' should've just torn down Leland and rebuilt. It would've been faster and cheaper in the long run.

    The saying "you can put lipstick on a pig and it's still a pig" has now been disproven. This is such a dramatic improvement from the hideous dated look it was. Alas - we still have the dumb-*** red pipes but wow. What a makeover.

    BTW - they are actively pursuing the hotel addition now for a 2018 opening. It'll be great high end brand. (Per those in the know).

    It's a shame but was seriously filthy and needed updating. Maybe another Barnabys could go there!
