It really turned out to be a nice building. They did tear down the Upper Kirby Building right next to it. Walking to Whole Foods off Kirby at dusk this building and the one off Buffalo Speedway there lit it up. Just wait till Thor Equities rises up!

Market Square Tower: 40-Story High-Rise At 777 Preston St.
nativehoustonion replied to Urbannizer's topic in Downtown
I was at Market Square last weekend and that building is tall! Does HFD has a plan if there is a fire on the top floors? Or they could use the pool to put out the fire.- 1,893 replies

I have a friend that does refunds off Jefferson. They are moving there with the remaining employees from Smith St. They are so excited to be in a LEED Platinum office tower with a gym, conference office. But No word what floors they will occupy. 250,000 square feet must be 15 floors.

United has 6,000 flights a day and this month United is number 1 for one time arrivals. Ahead of DL,WN and AA. Last year Forbes ranked United 8th place now it is 2. Things are finally looking good. I defend them since I'm Premier and they treat me very nice.

How nice take it to the top! I wonder when the city of Houston will annex it. Very soon if not already.

There more employees here in Houston then Chicago. They are closing the reservation offices in HNL and DTW. Agents have to move to Chicago or Houston or work from home. United still owns a huge building off the beltway on the other side Greenspoint mall. I never thought they would rent 609 Main. Hope they name it United Airlines Center.

This building looks familiar, meow.

Another ugly building they should just tear it down. Just like we need in HTown to tear down the Holiday Inn.

This is a ugly building, so bad you have zoning in Dallas. Yuk! Does look like Perot.

I think Forth Worth needs their own forum. Dallas has one building undercontruction at 500 feet. On HAIF look how many we have!
-
Ok off today will go walk over there. I will also go see where Hanover is building the 39 floor highrise off Steel St. Last I saw the property was no activity last time I checked.

Also a fan! Who was the politician against the Main St. rail said no one would ride at, and it will not spur development? Then he went to prison!

That is why Kirby Thor Equities will be starting to rise. The New York firm were they received financing know how many people live within 15 miles. Which is a lot of money per capita.

I did not disclosed but the truth. The Rolex Building is very Dallas cannot wait to see it built.

Development and underconstruction are two different issues. Downtown Houston is expanding. I was impressed with Dallas last week. Just wait when the Panamal Expainson starts. The Port Of Houston already has 4, 300 foot cranes for the huge container ships. Houston is ready , and TMC continues to build with two expansions including UT. So Dallas do not think we relay only on oil. Go to Houston.org to see how much money comes into our city with the port and medical center the largest in the world. Houston's GNP is so much larger then all of DFW! I do like the pictures, please send more.
