  2. I'm praying for the opposite. I'm praying that demand for spec office buildings in EC somehow goes away and praying that demand for spec office buildings in the CBD somehow multiplies and praying that Allen Center building and Houston Center building, and the market square building and the Capitol tower building all start construction tomorrow. But since my prayers have never been answered this development seems kinda cool.
  3. Regarding the title of this thread, I'd be willing to wager that the Marquis 2 building never becomes a strip club again.

  9. So we are still ahead of Antarctica. That's something.
  10. He meant we're behind the world in terms of trains, as this is a trains thread and not a food or toilet thread. Train-wise we are behind Europe, Asia, Australia, and parts of North and of South America. That leaves us only ahead of Africa and Antartica.

Did i take pics of batman, spiderman, wolverine, or anime chicks? nope. 20150522_195234 by Not.Larry Dierker, on Flickr 20150522_194916 by Not.Larry Dierker, on Flickr 20150522_195240 by Not.Larry Dierker, on Flickr 20150522_195318 by Not.Larry Dierker, on Flickr 20150522_195251 by Not.Larry Dierker, on Flickr 20150522_195254 by Not.Larry Dierker, on Flickr
  12. If Bisnow.com says it the River Oaks district, then it's official. And I could walk that in five but I'm a vegan crossfitter, so it's not a fair comparison.

  15. the section of the Buffalo bayou trail between the Aquarium and UHD is my favorite place in Houston.
  16. As a drunken crackhead transvestite, I take no offense to Tiger's statement.
  17. Go to Main st. in any small town in Texas and you can see a dozen houses just like that one. Demo it and build something useful to the Convention/sports district.
  18. there is an underpass under macgreggor between Brays Bayou and the Park. The bad thing is you have to circumnavigate the golf course to get to the useable park.
