  1. Hopefully construction will not shut the trail down for too long. I depend on the trail for most of the places I bike to. I seen the guy with a couch, end tables, and a radio. His neighbour from a few bridges down has a grill. IMG_1430 by Not.Larry.Dierker, on Flickr
  2. In the letter to the editor that Luminare posted, the TCR Rep stated that the rail would be one of the highest taxpayers in Madison County. Less of the rural folk would be opposed if they knew this.
  3. That camera is not showing the tower site? nevermind, I see now.
  4. Convention Center Embassy Suites for Adolphus Hotel And for Fountain Place, Renaissance Tower, and, KPMG Centre I'll trade an equivalent square footage from Energy corridor buildings I don't know the name of.
  5. I was curious about this. thanks. old thread discussing it. http://www.houstonarchitecture.com/haif/topic/29830-411-lovett-blvd-being-torn-down/
  6. I use the View New Content button to navigate Haif and agree tags would be useful. If tags are not an easy fix though, the sub forum option would work almost like a tag if you read the navigation line at the top of the page. HAIF - Houston's Leading News Forum → Issues → Traffic and Transportation → Planes Not quite a tag but you would know. My lazy wish is for a View New content button on the bottom of pages so I don't have to scroll back to the top.
  7. I'm sure when Texas central says downtown, they mean downtown. However, i once gave a girl from Meyerland a ride to the Medical Center because she didn't know how to drive downtown. I had dinner at Katz's with a couple from Pasadena and later said that they enjoyed going out downtown. I know a couple from Clear Lake that have never been downtown. I knew a girl from Deer Park taking classes downtown at St. Thomas.

  10. Seems like the city reclaiming the land and taking down the fence would make the intersection safer? Increase visibility?
  11. I went to Clayborns last year. I was the youngest person by 30 years and I'm over 30 myself.
  12. Isn't Caninos mostly gorcery store reject and overordered. It's nothing close to a farmers market.
  13. 20150323_153541 by Not.Larry.Dierker, on Flickr 20150323_153538 by Not.Larry.Dierker, on Flickr No obvious work on the Buffalo Speedway property as of yet. 20150323_153508 by Not.Larry.Dierker, on Flickr
  14. I don't guess there's any chance Starbucks is expanding that tiny parking lot? Seriously though, I hope they also bought the neighboring property on Buffalo Speedway that has been rotting vacant for so long.
  15. Monumental? No. But it would add some needed shape amongst the mostly flat and square rooftops.
