Yeah so do I. I am not sure where I heard that it may have been more than 8, 9 months ago. If anyone has been by it recently they could probably give you more info on the plaza. It would be a really nice touch to the complex though.

Well I know that the one on the left is done. The one on the right is topped out and the facade is completer. Not sure if it is open yet though, there may be some interior work still. Oh yeah and the one on the right has a different facade it is kind of a red stone and blue windows. I want to say I heard they may scrap the plaza this was a long time ago and I do not know the credibility of the source. I haven't been there on the surface streets recently so I couldn't say if anything new has happened with the plaza. Ok I found a pic taken by Mancuso. Kind of old but it gives an idea of the facade.

I was thinking a similar thing though I do not know how viable it would be. Put parking garages by the new stadium and the convention center. Then use most of the parking lot to put mid rise residential with retail. Maybe a small hotel to. Then use the Astrodome as a park/public gathering place. To get plants to grow just replace the painted roof panels with clear ones. Once again there probably won't be that kind or res. demand in years. But one day this might even be an option. Who knows?

What might those be? There does not seem to be to much info on the project as of yet, so as texasboy said are you working with the project? I hope if you are working with them, that you are allowed to give us some more info. But if not thats cool anyways. -
Sharks??? Maybe... Are there many sharks around Japan? Maybe pollution, but it looks pretty clean.
-
Well the second one is in Japan. I do not know which city though.

Holiday/Days/Heaven On Earth Inn At 801 St. Joseph Pkwy.
YakuzaIce replied to MontroseNeighborhoodCafe's topic in Downtown
If it was around 30 stories it sounds like it was the old Days Inn. There are plans to renovate it into condos. I am not sure how concrete these plans are though. Edit: Heres some pics of what I described so you can see if thats it. http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=117658 Edit again: heres what the renovation will look like, Heres the thread. I guess all this doesn't help though if it is the wrong building. -
Are you talking about the Broadstone (I think thats the name) those five or so story ones right next to 59 or the ones behind? Or maybe completely different ones. The ones behind the Broadstone are pretty ugly, but they look slightly better now that they have been repainted IMO.

See the little blue buttons at the bottom right of each post? On most it says Quote or Reply, but on yours it should have a third button that says Edit. Just click this, edit your post, and then press Submit modified post.

I don't think so. This sounds kind of like the mem. city project, but it is too far south it seems. There is some empty land there though. I think

Uptown And Galleria Area Real Estate
YakuzaIce replied to Subdude's topic in Uptown and Galleria Area
I was thinking the same thing. I can't recall any buildings in uptown that look like that. I also agree with your comment on spires. We could use more, but these just seem so tacked on. I wonder if the Mercer would have looked better with the spires that were in the earlier renderings. -

From the quotes posted here she seems as if she was one strange lady, with ridiculous ideas to go along with that. -gold wig ( ) -tear down central park -loathing the Chrysler building (I mean come on...) -wants more surface lots and less trees -If she can't use slaves, then they are bad -4 story star bucks and parking garage instead of Hou city hall @bruce_oneal I think she was Donald's sister. Well thats what Hornblower said.- 359 replies

Wow, 2007, they really need to get started pretty soon if the whole project will be done by then. Is it going up in phases, or all at once. -
Well today's real estate section is just little articles about several neighborhoods. It is split evenly between Sarnoff and Purva Patel.
