  1. There is also a heart and vascualr institute there. http://www.mhcenturyproject.org/locations/....php?c=sw&p=hvi That same rendering is on a sign there.
  2. They still have a fair amount of work to do for sept. Oh looking at the calendar I guess you meant June considering the date. Thanks for the info though.
  3. Great pics. When were they taken? Does anyone know when the renovation will be complete?
  4. You have to upload your pics to a website and then copy the URL, put IMG tags around it and post it. you could use www.pbase.com www.photobucket.com there are others also for example to the end)
  5. Unless they are just people who live there posing as caretakers. But since there are plans to begin renovation next year maybe there is a real caretaker now. I wonder how much longer people will be able to get into the days inn, before I believe landco's the one doing it starts cleaning it out.
  6. Does anyone know which is going where. It seems like the Heart & Vascular is going in the lot right past the line of trees. And the prof. building is the that will have beechnut in front of it. It is the cleared lot just a little further. Is anything being put on the toys r us/ parking lot?
  7. Good point, is anyone else on this forum also part of trees for houston?
  8. It looks like the building that will be adding on to the southwest hospital is about to begin. The site is cleared and there is one of those temp. construction trailers also.
  9. I heard this and it is good news. But I want to say the average room rate had fallen for the same time period also.
  10. LOL I bet there are a bunch of visionaries around Houston. Many probably on this board. But the problem is likely they are not the ones with money. But maybe if the for example res. market gets good enough we may have visionary developers from other cities coming here.
  11. Well it seems to be the right spot, but it doesn't seem like something similar. Is that what the current shopping center looks like? Maybe it is just a site selling the space.
  12. Yeah Goode Co. is verrrry good. I would say it is actually a step above pappas. Though I go to pappas more often because it is closer.
  13. Ok I think where I got confused is I thought the new development was also called pavillion. But the one thing I am still confused about is Riva Place the same area as what is now called boulevard place? Also was wulfe the company that planned Riva Place?
  14. Not particularly. Was wulfe doing the original riva place proplosal. Actually let me first get this clear is the most recent proposal that would replace fashion square and pavillion called (well formerly if this is the one being called boulevard place) Pavillion? I could have sworn it was because I remember people saying how there was now one uptown and downtown. I wish I could find the article because it was deleted here and I don't know my subscription number...
  15. I am really confused. Is Riva Place and Pavillion on Post Oak the same thing? I thought the rival place was proposed long before the Pavillion was announced.
  16. Yeah that is what I was thinking. I mean how am I supposed to know socialite older/younger than 40 and high school cheering squad??? Also some of the ones about writers or news people is pretty biased. Oh and is anyone happy we are finally getting some rain.
  17. Yeah some of the questions are ridiculous. Also they need an option if you just don't know. Like the drag queen one. What really sucks though is I was almost done with many of them having comments and then firefox decided to encounter a problem and have to close .
  18. EDIT: I put the link but it didn't work and then I realized you put it too. Why isn't it working. thats odd Well I am looking at it now so I'll give my opinion on the candidates in a sec.
  19. Well the rendering looks pretty good. Is the renovation work almost done? I ask because it says "Ready Summer 2005."
  20. There is a pavillions in uptown too. Regarding the grocery store isn't there one going in the stowers (I believe thats the name) building. I know there is a thread about it somewhere around here.
  21. Am I the only person who can't see this picture (and the one below it)? I even tried IE and still and just copying the URL and putting it in like that. Besides BotSW and 1700 Travis (which I think would look good in a clearer color rendering) I think we got most of the good buildings during that time.
  22. Isn't uptown the one getting LRT? In regards to whether uptown downtown etc. I think this is fine in uptown. Although I would like more development to be in downtown I would rather it occur naturally through single towers over the years rather than these single master planned developments. I do like it, though I hope they decide to diversify the facades. Regarding boulevard place.
  23. I've never seen this building before. It definitely would have been a different design than most of the stuff we have. And it looks to be at least 75 stories so I guess around 1000 feet. Oh and I can't see the first two pics.
  24. Well semipro said september and HOUCAJUN called them and they said October, so lets just say fall.
