  19. The design, at least from the outside, appears to encourage hanging out. I like it. Each location is designed to fit the needs of the area to a degree. I think the inclusion of an outdoor patio is a good idea. With the middle school across the street, I can see this being an after school hangout for the students and parents. I wonder if there is any accommodations for bicycles? I didn't notice it in the drawing. If there will be space for bikes, I may have overlooked it in the submitted documents. I agree.

  22. In the latest Realty New Report newsletter, Ralph Bivens speculates what Tilman Fertitta may have in mind for the 3.4-acre property at 4702 Westheimer Rd: Fertitta bought 3.4 acres at 4702 Westheimer, next to the River Oaks District... This parcel may become the site of the first urban casino to be built in Texas in the last century or so. Combining the upscale retail and restaurants at the River Oaks District with an adjacent casino hotel sounds a revenue-generating slam dunk... If casino gaming is ever approved in Texas, Fertitta appears to be shovel-ready for a casino on Westheimer and perhaps on waterfront sites in Kemah and Galveston, as well.
