It will sit on the block bounded on the four sides by Waugh Drive, Bell Avenue, Rosine Street, and Pierce Avenue. The tower is approximately 594,826 gross square feet and the tower balconies are approximately 53,020 gross square feet. The parking garage is approximately 199,290 gross square feet. Residential floors will typically have private unit balconies on east and west elevations. Ground Floor areas will include the main lobby, building tenant services, office areas, fire command, security, mail room, maintenance, storage, loading dock, building fire and domestic water room, emergency generator, building electrical rooms, and drive through drop-off/delivery roadway. Tower level 6 is a tenant amenity floor containing fitness, recreation, socializing and workspaces for tenants. Contiguous with this floor level is the top of the parking garage where there will be 29,800 square feet of exterior tenant amenity spaces such as a lap pool, spa, lawn decks, paved decks, walking paths, fitness areas, and covered lounge areas. There is also a 2,063 square foot amenity deck at level 31 for social gatherings. The staggered picture frames on the exterior of the building will be translucent glass with internal LED lighting while the perimeter of the building elevations will be porcelain paneling. I have no information on the other phases except that a mid-rise / tower will be north of this one, between Bell and Clay.

Project: Farb Hyde Park Architect: Ziegler Cooper Information: 20-story residential tower comprised of 256 units for a total of 541,657 S.F. Level 1 is Leasing and a whopping 12,185 S.F. of GFR. Parking is at Levels 2-6 while Levels 7-20 are residential. A 19,000 S.F. outdoor terrace deck and 4,500 S.F. indoor amenity area are located at Level 7.

Eastern Glades was open to the public today. It was kind of empty of people because it was raining, but I would imagine this will attract quite a crowd when the weather starts getting cooler. Very nice addition to Memorial Park.

Had a chance to view these renderings. This building will have even more terraces than Texas Tower. I think this forum will be very impressed by the redesign. High quality project - hopefully it gets capitalized!

“The development will include a high-end, 4-star hotel, but the team has yet to secure a brand for the hotel, Crane said. The entertainment district is slated to include restaurants and an indoor tailgating area that can be used year-round. It will also include a walkway above the street, which will take guests directly to the club level of the ballpark. The organization has hired an architecture firm and construction company for the project, Crane said, but the team did not confirm which companies it's working with prior to publication. Crane said the organization hopes to break ground on the project following the conclusion of the Astros’ season and that it could take about three years to complete. He added that the team might build the development in phases, with some parts of the entertainment district opening sooner than others”
