Checkout ekdrm's photos above. It is a precast parking garage that abuts the structure. Not part of the tower otherwise it would be cast in place, not precast.

Popular Post Highrise Tower
Went to visit today. Had a million questions for the front desk. A Hanover staff member was in the office and overheard my conversation. As she was leaving for the day she approached me asking if I would like a showing.. mentioned I'd like to see a 1 bedroom, but my girlfriend wants me to look at 2 bedrooms. Said she'll show me both! Obviously, I think, both of us know I couldn't afford this. She was just showing me around, since I was so intrigued. Hanover BLVD Place tour tomorrow!! 🍺 Edited February 24, 2019 by ekdrm2d1

Highrise Tower
Heard the Hanover offices have a million dollar marble wall. Exaggerating maybe? I'm curious

mattyt36
How common is it for these new apartments to charge monthly amenity fees?
SkylineView
The amenity thing is a relatively new addition to Houston. Some of the newer apartments / the ones with really nice pools & cabanas charge them. My wife and I (which live/ have lived in Houston high rises with and without the fees) call it the "cabana charge". If you see cabanas... there's probably an amenity fee.

Plus the 4400 Post Oak that just started.
por favor gracias
Also the Post Oak (Tilman's tower), Belfoire, the one on St. James, The James, plus all the mid rises around the entire area. The Skanska Tower and Highland Tower weren't long before, either.

Popular Post gene
Yet is still makes me wonder...why in the heck hasn't Post Oak Corner been snatched up for re-development yet!? Its the ENTRANCE to what they are coining as a Grand Blvd!!! (bottom left of photo/empty lot and old abandoned bank building) I keep wondering why Tillman just doesn't buy it and put something, ANYTHING there! haha!

A couple years ago Randall Davis was under contract to purchase that property but it fell through for some reason. I think there's a thread on it with renderings somewhere.
gene
Today at lunch there looked to be upper management etc eating outside at Ninfa's. All the windows are still covered with paper etc but i do believe that this means it will be open in the next couple of weeks!
