H-Town Man
I guess Link Crude Resources and McQuilling Partners are the anchor tenants. Probably not a whole lot of spec space given the current market. Good infill right there, west side of Travis is pretty ragtag.

Highrise Tower
This one got redesigned. Crude Resources backed out but McQuilling Partners stayed on? It is now 3 stories and a different architect.
hindesky
I live pretty close to this so I can update when work breaks out. This is the current building and it's pretty small. Edited October 10, 2021 by hindesky

Great out of the box design.

A public sector bid and construct mentality in a private, negotiated arena. I always get a feeling of discontentment when I hear a promising project has been awarded to Arch-Con as the builder. 1
JBTX
I thought they did a perfectly good job with Forth, but generally speaking, yes. I agree with you.

wilcal
That required visibility triangle goes through their stairwell right there. Also, this is on a primary Walkable Place street, so I think they have to provide some amenities that might not be picture. Will be interesting to see if the variance request is granted.
