SkylineView
What about the construction south of 10, just west of the acura dealership (just outside HW6 on the west side of town). Any ideas what's going up out there? I can't find anything.

It matches the location, but the description of "Embassy Suites" is odd as the nearest one is at I-10 & Kirkwood in the Energy Plaza development. https://oeaaa.faa.gov/oeaaa/external/searchAction.jsp?action=displayOECase&oeCaseID=295773498&row=19
SkylineView
Found it... LINK Mac Haik Breaks Ground on Embassy Suites West 208-Room Hotel to Deliver Next August in Houston's Energy Corridor By Michael Cobb August 4, 2016 Email Print Mac Haik Realty and MH Hospitality have broken ground on Embassy Suites West, a new 16-story, 208-room hotel located at 16435 Katy Freeway in Houston. Situated across from the new Park 10 development, the hotel is expected to deliver next August. The strategic location is intended to attract visitors from the Energy Corridor as well as the Katy area of West Houston. The project will come on the heels of MH's five-story, 142-room Home2Suites hotel slated to deliver by September roughly six miles to the east on I-10 at 1106 Sherwood Forest.

monarch
^^^ @KinkaidAlum not so fast my friend, remember just how gorgeous the ES DOWNTOWN looked upon its original renderings / concepts? be careful what you wish for......
The Pragmatist
That one at I-10 and Kirkwood basically lays out the foundation for this one. https://goo.gl/maps/JumcaGKmxSm
ChannelTwoNews
Saw this one yesterday. Definitely has the "bones" of the one just to the east near Dairy Ashford, and it certainly is 5+ floors up.
art vandelay
Saw this one last week on my way to Katie. It's a little strange in that it looks like they're building a tall building in the middle of nowhere. I wonder if this might be the farthest west high rise in Houston.

cspwal
I'd say that is in the category of buildings as the tall skinny condo near the galleria (forget the name)
