WestGrayGuy
Yes Chuck George was a notorious "friend of Dorothy". Quite the partyboy too.
dbigtex56
To his credit, Chuck George did some charitable work here in Houston, notably fundraising for Stone Soup (the AIDS food pantry).

Or maybe he was just a half on homo until the right chick came along? Actually he was just a nice guy who over-groomed because it was his job to look good on TV. He also did alot of work for Stone Soup which makes him OK in my book. [..and what an odd topic for an architectural forum ]

Original Timmy Chan's
I've got an honest-to-goodness question...Why are there so many homosexual meteorologists? I've been told by a producer-friend at one of the local stations that about 75% of the meteorologists in Houston are gay. Just curious about that...any theories?
tomv
I've noticed the same thing. I wonder if this is peculiar to Houston or a nationwide trend...As for why, I don't have a good theory, other than that I don't think we're ready for a gay sportscaster, so that leaves news and weather as viable choices for gay broadcasters. I don't know, is there something fun and flamboyant about weather? Certainly not the events of the last few weeks...
