Fielding’s Culinary Group will open its third restaurant in the Novel River Oaks luxury apartment development.

Scheduled to open in fall 2024, the currently unnamed restaurant will build on the success of Fielding’s two successful establishments in The Woodlands: Fielding’s Wood Grill and Fielding’s Local Kitchen & Bar.

There is an architectural barriers project filing for 2511 Willowick Rd, Suite 326. It was filed today with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR.) The filing is for Fieldings / Fieldings Local. The restaurant is slated for Novel River Oaks.

Pie Tap / Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar is rumored to possibly open at Novel River Oaks (3750 Westheimer). Does anyone have further insight?

According to marketing materials for another property, the Dallas pizzeria may also open in the Montrose area. The restaurant is shown at 211 Fairview St in leasing materials.

Leasing materials list Pie Tap / Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar on the 211 Fairview St property. The restaurant is a pizzeria with locations in the Dallas and Fort Worth areas.

It's possible Pie Tap is eying a Houston expansion. Still, I don't know if there's truth to the inclusion.

With news that retail is finally coming into this development, I wonder if they'll remove the barriers to their Westheimer entrance. It looks so weird right now with the planters basically blocking the entrance to the garage.
