GettaClue
Just a head's up:Since just after Christmas, at least two Cypress-area residents have given accounts of their family members being robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot outside of the Cinemark Theatres at 290 and Spring-Cypress. In each, guns were pointed at or pressed up to victims' heads and/or chests. In neither case was the victim alone, they were part of a pair or group of 3 who were accosted by 2 gunmen. Both incidents were at night.
LTAWACS
This is not good. Seems like that part of town is dangerous.

GettaClue
This is not good. Seems like that part of town is dangerous. Not even! While no place is totally crime free, these recent events are pretty rare in that area. What is happening in that area though is that they have very strong HOA's and online community forums. Residents in that entire the area have many means of communicating and information gets passed around very quickly. That's how problems get resolved and ultimately it is how neighborhood safety is best ensured.I have lived in other areas of town where much more, and much worse, stuff has gone on, but we never knew about it until months after the fact, if at all. Heads in the sand are calming, but only until you awake up to find Armageddon has gone on all around you while you were merrily in the dark. Or worse, yet, until you are jerked into reality by situation you never saw coming due to blissful ignorance of a potential problem.

lockmat
It's just better than normal I guess. Nothing too special, The Woodlands is already an XD and I'm sure most of their theatres are.http://www.cinemark.com/theatres.aspx?type=
