The fan-friendly complex will be designated to host a variety of racing events. This might be that. The one proposed for Brazoria County was supposed to be designed by Hermes Architects; have 75,000 seats. Dallas gets 2 events a year, and NASCAR says that there just aren't enough races to let Dallas lose one. THis is how the previous proposal in 2003 got shot down my friend. Not a fan of nascar... but if it was also used for formula 1, then you'd get me excited. Interesting concept with the hotel leaning over the stands with the luxury suites. If it were to get built I think a good spot for it is somewhere up 59 north. I dont know the attendance of NASCAR but is 100,000+ asking for too much? Bring some F1 racing or even better MotoGP or the Superbike, middleweight classes. Now THATS something I would go see.
