flipper
Har Listing: http://search.har.com/engine/dispSearch.cf...mp;backButton=Y From the public comments: Owner started renovations on the large house with garage apartment off the freeway. Lot almost 10,000 sq. ft. Pick up this gem, dust it off, add polish and it will shine. HarrisCountyEx
Unbelievable! I wonder if the owner began renovations before or after the fire? The pic of the man sitting by the fence is funny - and the satellite dish on the side of the neighbor's house cracks me up.
sheeats
"dust it off" I think a bit more than "dusting" would be in order..... Do you think the dude sitting on the desk comes with the house? Otherwise, it's just not fair to include him in the pictures as if he's some kind of selling point. Bait and switch!
brian0123
Like she said, just dust it off and watch it shine!flipperDefinitely! The interior of this contemporary artist dream house has been "painted" a beautiful ash color. Incredible open floor plan... that even has a convenient laundry chute between the first and second floors! Outside, there is plenty of parking for your guests... and the yard is covered in fantastic sculptures that represent the pain, suffering, and destruction mankind has created on this planet. Owner says metal ladder stays! Hurry today!
sevfiv
Kind of reminds me of when Patsy burned up Eddie's kitchen and she briefly entertained the thought of keeping it that way... edit - I had to email the listing to the blog mentioned here

20thStDad
Does it come with the ladder? I imagine there are no stairs inside, so it should.
NenaE
Classic From the looks of that rocking chair, looks like a case of "spontanious combustion" to me. Where is the house they speak of? I only see a charcoaled garage apt.
Ross
I like these litle tidbits on the listing:Heating: No Heating Cooling: None Looks like it had quite enough heating at one time. This is a listing that someone worked on for hours to bring out all the best features of the property.
diggity
what's really strange about this listing is the burned out building pictured is only the garage apartment. The actual structure looks to be in fine shape, but it's never pictured. The property is also valued at $234,000 on hcad. Methinks there may be some fraud going on.
