Which will just further confuse visitors as to where the real downtown is. They are already confused by the Med Center and Uptown.

Nope. As of now, the word is that the two sites that the highrises were to stand on were sold to other developers and the current BLVD Place site has no planned highrises as part of it.- 2,416 replies

Update: The site notice says they will be finished in April of 2013, while the big sign says Fall 2012. And the Marquee West continues to look like crap: I've got $20 that says that it's demolished within 5 years to make room for another one of these cookie cutter high end apartment places.- 38 replies

Walked passed around 4pm today and grabbed a quick picture: And SkylineView is right, they've had the base for the tower crane in place for a good two weeks now. It's the white thing on the right edge of the picture.

The project will have some limited parking along the front, but will be primarily served by two parking garages: one in the back behind building 6 (the only building currently completed) and one under the Whole Foods.- 2,416 replies

I don't see how the parking is such a problem. It serves as a drop off area and provides a small amount of store-specific spots that couldn't be put in a garage. It doesn't affect the walkability of the development in any noticeable way.- 2,416 replies
