    The pond connected to the other pond across the road/bridge, then they barricaded it. So, if anything, when it reopens, the adjacent wildlife will repopulate the newer, smaller pond.

    Residential tower, replaced with an office tower, I can live with that. The good thing about uptown, versus downtown, is that they have more than enough condos.

    Sprawling indeed. I love how they say it will compete with downtown buildings for tenants, good luck with that claim. Looks like a standard office park, only bigger. Not very walkable looking. Every master planned community has that, it's called wasted space and retention ponds. I love the video, Watch the The 5 Districts Listen to the R&D district section of the video starting at 0:55. Are they eff-ing kidding me? Jessie, please note, I am happy you found this, and not teasing you, rather the developers for coming up with this nonsense to sell something we don't need. Didn't we already have a huge office park announcement from Hines already. And everything else in the video is already done, it's called the Woodlands.

    While I would like to agree, at the same time, I sure plot size and cost played a huge role in it's location, as well as it's proximity to the Energy Corridor.

    I agree, I would be all for bringing the store fronts to the side walks. A new Saks 5th right alongside the street is perfect, and that area only Westheimer has some amazing trees to compliment some nice sidewalks. The old Border entrance was a waste, since it was only used as an emergency exit.
