    So 5 stories is the new 4 stories for apartments. At least it will line up nicely with the Manhattan and Empire next door. I remember that the 90's it was all 3 stories. Eventually all apartments will be 10 story midrises. I am ok with it, it was an ugly empty lot for too long, and we still have plenty of lots to build taller buildings. McCue and Richmond is one example nearby.

    Whatever they do, I hope they bring the stores up to the sidewalk if they rebuild.

    Do you think they will bring the patio up to the corner of the sidewalk. That would make for some great visibility Especially with the thought of live music each night. It will give the Aloft Hotel guest another option too.

    From what I got, it seems that way, something smaller to keep him busy.

    Likely a thread to be moved to the Astoria, but RD does all this stuff to build interest and get a percent of presales done, so once he meets his quota, he can get approved for financing for construction. Presentation is key. When he promoted the Titan, he had to return all the deposits when it was cancelled, so it's a gamble, but if enough people commit, it will happen.

    Yup, the "new highrise" is the Astoria. So the success of that might be enough to bring the Titan back to the table.
