  1. For you it may be more distracting and less productive, but for many it is more productive to work from home. Not as many chatty Cathy/talky Ted types interrupting all day.
  2. A little bit touchy, are we? I'm not real fond of our government employees using their positions to get favorable treatment, which is what happened in her case. But if you're OK with it, great. Rock on. You do you, hoss.
  3. I thought I recognized that name from somewhere... https://www.texasmonthly.com/the-daily-post/there-is-video-of-the-dwi-stop-of-district-appeals-court-judge-nora-longoria-after-all/
  4. Sorry to have confused you with links to facts. You obviously have an agenda, so have a good day, sir.

    Where Am I?

Looks kind of like Fifth Ward Jam
  7. Are you sure you don't want to edit and rephrase that question?
  8. Chacun à son goût, but I can't fathom paying $1.2 million and having neighbors that close to me.
  9. Which would be great. Fewer people traipsing to a central area to do a job that can be done remotely means less traffic, less pollution. Winning!
  10. They're putting up a bubble dome over that field eventually.
  11. We have been getting curbside takeout from our usual local independent haunts, has worked very well and there's no chance of a delivery fee cutting into restaurant margins. Plus, can plop a big tip on top to help servers some. Did try Popeye's chicken sandwich for the first time today, wasn't too shabby! 😅
  12. I think they switched out the trough urinals and added 48 seats in obstructed view sections. Only cost $450 million, or thereabouts. What a bargain!
  13. When was the last time you were in Kyle Field?
  14. You sure read a lot into what I posted, without knowing anything about me. Seems like you might have an agenda.
  15. Let me know when you find one of these unicorns.
  16. Spoke with the owner of a small restaurant in a less-expensive part of town, and he said he basically had to bring in $700 a day to break even. Mindblowing to think how many of these places are struggling.
  17. $550K for a stackable washer and dryer? 😂🤣😅
  18. Some people simply don't care about the concept of a city's "true core" Development is organic. It happens where it happens for a reason, usually to do with affordability and ability to make a profit.
