Is it possible it is associated with Judaism?

Shouldn't be giving out breaks to anyone at this point. If you want to build, build, but you (the developer) pay for it.

Very cool use of the property.

Looks like maybe the south deck of UHD?

Tranquility Park is a nice park in a good spot for a park. Don't need another skyscraper downtown, especially in that location.

Yep. To prepare for building my new million-dollar mansion, I mowed my lawn today.

Rye Heights: 7-Story Multifamily At 1111 W. 23rd St.
gmac replied to Urbannizer's topic in Going Up!
They should rename it Nextdog for all the "missing" fur babies. Often wondered how painful it was to give birth to that dog/cat.- 85 replies

Interesting sidetrack... Houston's "superneighborhoods". Lazybrook/Timbergrove is one. https://sites.google.com/site/superneighborhood14/home http://www.houstontx.gov/planning/Demographics/docs_pdfs/SN/14_LazybrookTimbergrove.pdf I may be very late to the game, but found this quite educational.

Love the idea, glad to see some affordable housing being built. Embarrassed that someone on page 3 didn't know how to spell Hermann.

We'll see, and we'll just have to disagree. I probably won't live long enough to see this thing started/completed, but I think it is a useless project that adds nothing. I have no skin in the game, just hate to see people lose their land for a vanity project.

It remains a silly idea that will end up failing financially, and the billionaires behind it will come begging for a bailout.

I-45 Rebuild (North Houston Highway Improvement Project)
gmac replied to ToryGattis's topic in Traffic and Transportation
You're wrong, just admit it and move on. You claim that it is still happening due to racism. It's not. Most people with families buy where they can afford a nice home, and that is certainly not inside the loop or downtown.- 3,351 replies

Covenant House Texas Montrose At 1111 Lovett Blvd.
gmac replied to Highrise Tower's topic in Going Up!
NIMBYism run rife in here. I imagine, gene, if you offered to buy Covenant House a brand new facility somewhere else in the city, they would listen. Hope you have deep pockets.- 123 replies

COH should ban delivery vans and semis inside the loop, too. Y'all can walk to the furniture store and hump your trendy new sofa home on your back.
