    I was a Boy Scout from the late 80's to about 94/95. Troop 547. Sadly, after I received my eagle scout award I didnt do much with the troop after that. I wonder quite often whats happened to my old Boy Scout buddies.

    I was searching for a new breakfast place to eat on sunday, and didnt want to go to LePeep, LaMadeline, or my favorite Buffalo Grill on buffalo speedway. My girlfriend and I did some searching around and we found a place that was ranked really well by Citysearch, Fountain View Cafe, near San Felipe and Fountain View. This place had a great atmosphere, a classic 60's, 70's interior decor, warm friendly employees, and the food was great. I had eggs, hash browns, and a muffin. My brother had biscuits and gravy that were legendary, and my girlfriend had french toast. We really enjoyed it, and I just wanted to share my experience about it with you guys! Sorry, dont have any photos to share!

    My office is right near corporate/bellaire, and Id LOOOOOVE to see some photos, or hear about more history about this area. Ive been around this area since the late 90's, and as far as I can remember theres been nothing but asian restaurants, strip shopping centers, etc.

    57Tbird, Was your Aunt, and relatives Greek ? Or Italian ? Just curious, your aunt looks a little Greek.

    I graduated from Lee in 1994. It was run down at that time, and had become a school that seemed to be exclusively for children of migrant / day laborer workers at that point. I know its even more so now. I think its because of all of the low rent apartments along westpark/bellaire/gessner area. Granted, it wasnt one of the worst schools at that point, and there were a good amount of kids that didnt cause trouble, got their work done, and had good morales, but from just looking at the school you might think otherwise.

    Wow ! That photo of the empty lot in front of Lee is amazing. Amazing how much its changed over the years. I went to Lee between 92-94, CLASS of 94 ! Im glad to be out of there. Its even more amazing to look at the changing demographics of the schools students over the years. I am a white male, and was a minority in the early 90's, I can only imagine what its like there now.

    What do you guys think of Cascadas on westheimer near Kirkwood ? I LOOOOOVE their red salsa, it tastes so fresh and yummy !
