    It just seems like not too long ago nothing was going on Downtown... and now all of a sudden we have Discovery Green, Houston Pavilions and One Park Place all under construction!! To add to that, Discover Tower has been announced, along with a few other possible office towers!

    There is already a crane up on one of the blocks... so I guess this is a second crane for a second block.

    Usually you get a certain amount of time to play with the cam... and whoever is watching it sees what you want to see... and then when your time is up the next person gets a chance. That's how others I have used worked.

    I love 1000 Main... it's one of my favorite buildings Downtown. 5 Houston Center is nice too... I just wish it were taller.

    I really hope the building goes higher than 31 stories... but even if it doesn't, this is really exciting for Downtown! So let's see... we have Discovery Green, Houston Pavilions and One Park Place all under construction... other retail planned for Main Street... and now more office towers being planned. Exciting times for Downtown!!

    That's the block I am seeing... two blocks east (or southeast) from Chevron Tower. Great location! Right next to the park... across the corner One Park Place. If you go to Discovery Green's website they actually have a tower placed there in the picture of the park.

    I have heard about this tower before... great news for Downtown! That will look awsome next to or at least very close to the park (not sure what block that is exactly). It would be great to see more towers on that side of Downtown... fill in that area a bit. :-)

    I drove by HP today and noticed the base of a crane is already set up on the block closest to the Toyota Center.

    I was thinking that same thing when I went to Target the other day... how it's almost been a year and so far hardly anything else is opened/developed around it. At least those lofts are going up... that will make the area look nice.

    I drove by HP and all of the other Downtown projects today (well, yesterday actually) and I can confirm all of this. One Park Place is coming along great! The underground parking gargage for Discovery Green is coming along and I even saw them building some sort of above-ground building on site. HP is coming along great, also! Lots of people walking around Downtown, too! Very exciting!!

    I see Payless opened next to Target. I wonder when they will start building all of the other stuff.
