  1. Areas south of the Katy Freeway, to get up to 5'' of snow.
  2. Out here, I see kids making snowballs, but not from the ground, scraped up from the sides and things of cars, I see them doing it now from my window. On the 11 News, they said another batch of snow is coming, from Sealy, then another from Corpus Christi.
  3. Your right. Skyscraper Page, is more like this site, civil, and more controlled.
  4. N Judah, when I said, 'the Katy', I mean't, 'the Katy Freeway', not the city of Katy.
  5. People get attracted to new houses, only because they are new. If you look on the older houses around Memorial City Malls, in in the Memorial area, they have higher land values, and are better than some of these houses right next to me. They did a report on this on '11 News Up Close' in September.
  6. Your right. I was driving down Highway 6, south of the Katy, and I saw about 3 different California license plates.
  7. Which is better. Skyscraper City, seems more addictive, because I like seeing what other people across the country think. HAIF is my favorite, though. More in depth on my city, and I don't get attacked about talking about it. The Dallas Metropolis site isn't working, like it is under construction.
  8. I love the Katy Freeway. You go in a trench east of 610. Your driving down it. Then you come out of the trench and, BAM!!!!, there is this huge skyline in your face.
  9. I hate that. They can at least put brick all around on the house right next to the road. They did that for Castle Rock (built by Morrison, Perry, and DR Horton Homes) off of Westgreen, North of the Katy Freeway, South of Franz Road.
  10. Houston gets blown up in Independence Day. In Day After Tomorrow they keep on referring back to Houston.
  11. I don't like the Edwards Cinema at Greenway, because you have to pay to park. We need a Nike Town, and most definetly a Virgin Megastore in the Galleria. ESPN Zone works well in Downtown, and maybe like the Marq*E. There might be, any of the stores i just listed, in the works at the new Indigo Earth or Gardens@Westgreen location in Katy.
  12. Nothing big like the Woodlands. In a recent Katy Sun newspaper, they said that they are trying to attract some large employers out there. The newspaper said they are going to try and do this with the new things popping around Katy Mills, like a new Marriot hotel. Also, farther down the road, the Gardens@Westgreen, and Indigo Earth, were sure to bring big companies out to Katy once the completion of those arrive. Also, the Katy Freeway expansion porject was said to help as well. The Katy Area's growth was to contribute to that, too, being at 130,000, and rising every year. Plus, the excellent school district. This all happening in the next 20 years.
  13. Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio will be a hug supercity. The Texas Triangle. Florida already has some supercity characteristics.
  14. As long as people get the good message about Christ, and what good He has done, I am fine from these big megachurches with 25,000 people, or the small ones with 150 people.
  15. Just a thought, maybe a museum could be made in the Dome. I don't know how they could do it, but like from its beginning, to the end of its life.
  16. One the schematics it says that at the GRand Parkway, it will be a full, 5 level interchange. The renderings look great, too.
  17. Vegas' and Atlanta's radio stations don't got nothing on 97.9. I've listened to them and 97.9 is better, my just a margin.
