Midtown Medical Center At 1400 Gray St. & 3808 Main St.
CincoRanch-HoustonResident replied to Subdude's topic in Midtown
This will be a very cool project. -
A Disney theme park in the Katy Prairies would be good. That land area is huge. It doesn't have to be Disney, though. Busch Gardens, Universal, or Sea World could build something their. Houston would be a better place than San Antonio to have these types of parks even though San Antonio has a Sea World.

Kerry, to me, didn't do a thing in the Vietnam War. I heard that he didn't win those medals, and that is another reason why the Vietnam Veterans are getting really angry at Kerry. Kerry lies and Kerry is such a liar. I seriously hope Bush wins and not horse-faced Kerry. -
I found this post by a member of the wesbsite, some of what he or she says is QUITE true: Let the rumours stop and the truth begin by KATYRESIDENT I have considerable proof that the Disey corporation is constructing a large Florida-like theme park immediately west of Grand Parkway, (99) near Katy Mills. What knowledge comes behnd this? As follows: 1) Katy is a booming area that simply invites massive theme parks. There are already numerous supplemental attractions such as Forbidden Gardens, Katy Mills, Indigo Earth, a large Cinemark movie theater, a gorgeous new library and high school, as well as botanical gardens. 2) I am involved in the real estate business in Houston and there is a GREAT deal of anonymous purchasing going on. I don't know who, but it smells like a mouse. 3) I-10 is undergoing a renovation that rivals the great freeways of Los Angeles. I have lived in or near Katy my entire life and never have I felt the need for a highway QUITE this large. 4) Outdoor sports are experiencing a massive renaissance. Enough to constitute an attraction in itself. A dozen or so first class golf courses are being constructed or have already been built. The tennis scene is thriving. New red clay courts have been built near the Mills and Taylor High School seems to always win state. 5) George Bush Intercontinental Airport is undergoing a renovation that will put it in league of Heathrow, LAX, JFK, O'hare, Hartsfeld, Narita, De Gaulle, and Frankfurt. THIS IS AMPLE EVIDENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMPLE! -A lifetime Katy, TX resident. Posted on Aug 9, 2004, 2:37 PM from IP address 24.242.192.124 I think she is right in many points. Tell me if I am wrong on this.

Interstate 69
CincoRanch-HoustonResident replied to CincoRanch-HoustonResident's topic in Traffic and Transportation
The only part where the Grand Parkway is "out there" is in the East side. The West, Northwest, and North areas that it WILL run through are already developed. -
They need to. Don Capers is a horrible coach and we need a new one. The Texans aren't a horrible team, though.

I absolutely hate North Main St. It needs a lot of help. Once the light rail goes through it will look like Main Street through the Medical Center, or was that Fannin. I am not sure because the switch in between Main, Fannin, and Greenbriar through that area and Reliant Park.

I have never visited Texarkana before. What do they have up there?

Im glad the Post is gone. It wasn't to great, but it was good Houston had at least two Newspapers in it. -
Downtown Tunnel Retail News & Updates
CincoRanch-HoustonResident replied to houstonsemipro's topic in Downtown
Houston's Downtown will prosper by the time the next Super Bowl will be hosted here(probably 2008, 2009, or 2010). It is truly going in that direction. The East Side of Downtown needs some life to it, not just new stadiums. -
How is that statue scary Montrose?

I have never seen Oprah has not generous. She is very giving, and I do wish other wealthy people could look at Oprah as kind of a roll model to them.

Kerry did lie. That explains the Veterans being so upset, and pissed off at Kerry becaouse of his false speakings of the war. I just hope that after Bush wins this election(which he probably will), that Kerry, in after the 4 year term is over, does not win in a presidential race because I do not want him as my President. But that may just be me.
