    Quick question (sorry if it was answered earlier and I didn't see it) - are there cup holders on the backs of the chairs? I remember there being complaints that the seats had no cup holders on the armrests...but while I was at the rodeo I noticed they were on the backs of the seats. I can't tell from the photos, and I'd be curious as to their reasoning for not including them if that's the case.

    Apparently there's a Texadelphia set to go in at Washington/Studemont in the strip center next to Walgreens...I wonder if this is where they are "moving" to?

    Drove through the area last night and was surprised how fast things are coming along. The garage for Camden Phase II looks to be close to completion and Post Midtown is already up to 3 floors of framing (if not more, it was dark)...I'm ready to move in!

    I'm hoping that's the case. They're website mentions the location but that they were closed and would be relocating and would announce where in the future. You would think they would just say they're expanding the location...but who knows

    Does anybody know what's going on at the former Texadelphia site on Rice Blvd.? It appears that the space is being merged with the neighboring Thai place that shut down a while back. The Texadelphia sign is still up...I'm really hoping they're just expanding because I miss my pizza-steak sandwiches!

    Taken today...garage looks to be almost finished, and the retail level seems to be complete.

    I suppose with the obvious great view I have of the site from my office...I'll have to start contributing with construction photos The precast parking garage has gone up literally in the past week, it appears that there's 1 or 2 levels underground, and I think the wall components are up to the 7th or 8th level of the garage. Work on the building has been going on for the past two months, columns have gone in on the 1st floor and they started pouring concrete today for the 2nd floor. Our view of the Upper Kirby district has pretty much been blocked now, but I'm definitely looking forward to the new restaurants/retail!

    Looks to be where the current remote part of the Allen House apartments are...in studying the existing site it looks like it could fit there.

    I've heard from a few sources that it will be difficult for H&M to enter places like the Galleria and Memorial City, as they have waiting lists to get in...whereas places like Willowbrook and Baybrook mall are easier to get into, so although the closing Borders in the Galleria would seem to be the perfect place for a new H&M, there's probably already another company looking to go in there. This would be great news for BLVD Place if they really are getting all those tenants!

    I've heard that the apartments/condos? with the trees painted on the garage was 1 of two buildings they were supposed to build, and that the second half was to cover the exposed side that got painted...which makes sense. Hopefully the construction you're talking about is the 2nd tower! Now if only there was a tower that could be built in front of that Westin to block the view of that ugly hotel :/

    The new Dollar General is actually quite nice, at least a lot nicer than that Kroger. They've actually come a long way in their food offerings, and it's a lot more convenient running in there for chips and soda (or off-brand vienna sausages ) than any grocery store.

    Looks to be a smaller-scale version of West Ave, the pool would probably be similar as well.

    Thank God...the location they moved to in some former kid's clothing store was a depressing excuse for a Disney store...glad they're making this change

    Where on earth are they planning to expand? I get putting retail on the first floor of the garage, but additional parking and apartments?....maybe down the street towards west dallas?

    This location is actually open again...went by today to check it out, but they only have furniture.

    yay, 3 stores to do "window-shopping" and that's about it...i know i know, if I want affordable, marshalls is just down the street

    OH Ok I've been through there...I thought that it was the "Decorative Center: Dallas" complex...didn't realize it was a district. Thanks for the info kdog and chrisp!

    What the heck is the "Dallas Design District"....in no way am I trying to start a Dallas vs. Houston argument...but I'd much rather live in an area called Uptown/Downtown/Midtown/etc...

    They don't look to be behind schedule...that's actually the timeframe for when people BID to do the work, not actually do it.

    Nevermind...found the article on the Houston Pavilions website and the new "tenants" is the Scott Gertner bar...that's old news! Oh well...
