  12. Speaking of galaxy, isn't Galaxy Furniture closing? Also I think I heard that Gallery Furniture was closing. Is this true?
  13. I care, thats a high class store Houston is losing. But I read somewhere that just because they are closing that store doesn't mean they aren't bringing another store to Houston. So Houston still could have more than one. So does anyone know what they are doing to that location yet. Will it be like the Atlantic station development in Atlanta?
  14. Krystals is nasty! I went there to day on the way home (a little out of the way) but because I wasted to try them so bad I went up there. The mustard and onions is nasty. Mabe I should have tried something diffrent, like the chicken, or the regular burgers.

  20. Has anyone every seen or ate at the old Fire + Ice Restaurant? What happened to it? That area looks so much like Los Angeles. And I think I saw a new walkable area near there with a new building that looked like it just finised construction, and right in front of it was a freeway. Do any of you know what street I'm talking about? I think its near Greenway Plaza.

Another one! 1:03 PM CST Thursday Lithuanian consulate to open in Houston Vygaudas Usackas, Lithuanian Ambassador to the United States, will inaugurate Houstonian William Altman as Honorary Consul of Lithuania for Texas in a reception on Friday. Lithuania is the newest country to join Houston's roster of 82 consulates. "The consulate is a sign of Lithuania's continued integration into the international community, having recently joined both NATO and the European Union," Altman says. "I hope to continue to extend and build bridges between Lithuania and the Houston business community." Prior to working with the consulate, Altman was president and CEO of Kardia Therapeutics, a local biotech firm; co-founder of FemPartners Inc., a Houston-based women's health care services company; and chairman of the U.S.-Baltic Foundation. The consular office will be located at 4265 San Felipe.
