    Yeah, it's $10 I think. Just a PITA if you only want one drink before continuing somewhere else. Same thing at Leon's, which is too bad because Leon's is often on the way to somewhere else I'm going.

    Zombie, Mai Tai, Scorpion, those are the types of drinks you'd find at a tiki bar. I don't think Under The Volcano even stocks orgeat. I see it as a Mexican bar. There's a lot of little Mexican cultural type of stuff in the design. I like Under The Volcano, for the most part. Drinks are decent, though it can get a little packed, and credit card minimums really burn my biscuits.

    All new construction should have sidewalks along the public right-of-way, Q.E.D. all new construction should be in a walkable area, especially inside the Loop.

    806 Main has white wood or some similar material going up on the brick. The Texaco building doesn't draw many homeless, not nearly as many as, say, the convenience store at Main and Walker, where the Commerce Towers are thriving.

    Yep. I think you have to have one tree for the first 5000 sf, if you're building a new house, plus one for each additional 5000.

    Is The Heights more important than other Houston neighborhoods? Why is getting the marathon through The Heights such a special necessity? A lot of people live in this city, many of them not in The Heights.

    Still trying to understand why you want to change the Mayor of the city over the Marathon not coming through your precious Mayberry. Shouldn't other parts of the city get a chance, too?

    I think they had to take out Elysian because there's construction starting soon, so maybe that's why.
