I feel like the days are numbered for the Walgreens across the street. Anyone know how long it’s been there? I know the CVS further south on Montrose & Richmond has been there since 2005.

There’s another one coming soon at 4503 Montrose. Literally a 10 minute walk from the new Kinder MFAH building.

Anyone else notice the drastic increase in homeless population near and underneath the Spur recently?

I feel like most of the businesses along this stretch closed over a decade ago because of light rail construction that never happened.

When will this area be cleaned up and redeveloped?

Looks like all the homeless folks have been pushed adjacent to the 59 NB exit ramp, next to Shipley. 10+ tents there now. I wonder where they’ll move to next. Doubt Rice will let them stay once Ion opens.

I scratch my head every time I drive by here.  There's been no movement, yet we they keep announcing more and more tenants.

There’s plenty of movement...the homeless, for one.
